Thank you one and all, now here's something free!

I'm too lazy to re-type something up for this so here's a copypasta from facebook:

"Hey, y'all! So this is a little bit late, but to thank you all for the support you've given us through 2012, which was a great year for us, here's a NEW and FREE track for your downloading pleasure. It's sort of an outtake for an album which doesn't exist. We don't really know...but we hope you enjoy it nonetheless!"

If you want it, grab it here:

Cheers and thank you!

New album from The Pod up for pre-order:

"The Pod", otherwise known as the solo project of MAKE guitarist Scott Endres, has finished work on a new record titled 'Assassins in the Mirrored Hall' (mastered by MAKE's usual partner in crime, Nick Petersen) and is available for pre-order today.

The pre-order will stay up until enough funds have been raised (either through pre-order sales or Scott's paychecks) to press a bundle of CDs (those who pre-order will, of course, receive the CD once funds have been raised and the CDs are pressed). All pre-orders will give you an immediate digital download of the album along with two pre-order-exclusive bonus tracks not available later on or anywhere else. In addition, the first 20 pre-orders will come bundled with the first The Pod CD, 'Satellite'. And in addition to that the first 10 pre-orders will receive Scott's old psych-rock band SUNTAN's full length 'Send You Home' CD.

This pre-order package deal will update as disc bonuses sell out. If for any reason you wish to opt out of any bonus discs or physical copies, just say so in a message via bandcamp. Liner notes will appear on the physical CD and there will be a special section of thank yous for everyone who pre-orders as a gesture of sincere gratitude.

Here are a few details about this record which may be of interest to you:

* The record is largely inspired by and loosely based on The Book of the New Sun series by Gene Wolfe.

* The Pod in general is comprised of compositions from improvisations which are later cut apart, manipulated and assembled together.

* Both Spencer Lee and Matt Stevenson of MAKE have appearances on this record.

Cheers and thanks for listening!
